About Me

This Blog:

My name is Ty and I am a writer and teacher of bible, theology, and religion. This blog is my written expression of many of the current trends, ideas, debates, etc, that are taking place within the realm of bible, theology, and religion. However, that is not always what I will write about. Although I am mainly interested in those subjects it is not the only thing I write or blog about. I hope you enjoy the blog and my writing.

I am married to my lovely wife Megan, you can visit her blog Here. I have an M.A in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary, am pursuing graduate work in education and M.Div equivalency at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and I am a teacher at North Cobb Christian School. This blog is not a resource of any of these organizations and does not necessarily represent the views and opinions of the organizations. While my theological views agree with both of the organizations, the views and opinions expressed in this blog are not affiliated.

My Beliefs:

I believe the Bible to be inspired, the only infallible Word of God.
I believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
I believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory.
I believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
I believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. I believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.
